Review on Alaffia Authentic African Black Soap (Eucalyptus Tea Tree) - 32 Fl Oz: Natural Cleansing and Nourishing Soap from Africa by Jenny Smith

Finally found an awesome black soap that works great on the skin! Contains tea tree oil and eucalyptus and therefore has antiseptic properties. Family members have used it and it has helped get rid of pimples, pimples and rashes from athletes itch etc. It doesn't seem to dry out the skin. When dosing tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil, you'll notice a slight medicinal odor, but that's to be expected. Don't expect it to lather like commercial soap, but it CLEANS VERY well! I bought a bottle with a pump that is no longer available. I recommend you buy a pump dispenser to put on the bottle. It is very easy to dose in the shower. If your skin feels oily, dirty or clammy, wash your face with this cleanser! Does a fantastic job! I used to use Nubian but they sold it to a big company and changed all the formulas which makes it TERRIBLE. So I stopped using it and switched to this one. Highly recommend and I hope they continue to keep the formula intact and DO NOT SELL it to a big company! GREAT standard soap product and I hope they continue to support groups and families like they say they do on the side of the bottle!
