I installed this crane to take some test shots. My camera weighs just under 6 pounds. The first time I lifted the crane, the top rung broke in half. Luckily the rig was only a few inches off the ground and neither the camera nor the lens were damaged. I could return the faucet but I had to go to a UPS store to do it and I live in the middle of nowhere. The nearest UPS store is over two hours away. So I took the faucet apart and replaced the trash rods with a 13 foot piece of 10 foot pipe that was cut into 4 foot and 6 foot pieces. Now it might be a bit heavier and not adjustable, but it works great.
