Review on Igloo MaxCold Cooler Blue/Navy 70 Qt - Ultimate Ice Retention for Outdoor Adventures by Richard Cartner

This cooler was chosen for the Cedar fridge project. After going through all the comparable coolers, I came to the conclusion that Igloo is best suited for the task. Hinges and handles are secured with stainless steel hardware and the spout is easily removed by loosening the plastic nut. During my research, I also found that Igloo sells replacement parts in case something goes wrong. They feel well made and insulated and will hold ice for a reasonable amount of time if you keep them in the shade.
