The gaiters work, they are waterproof and keep my legs dry 3 times I've used them hence 3 stars. However, they are too small. I can't use a strap that goes under my boots. I'm 6ft, 250 with shoe size 11.5. They seem to remain more or less immobile without straps, but I can feel them moving with moderate use. When I'm fishing they feel better than when I'm at work because I stand still more than when I'm walking around campus at work. I have ordered a new set of high end gaiters and will most likely pass them on to my fishing buddy or modify them with paracord for the straps as a backup.
