Review on Adapter Converter Convertor Motherboard Gigabyte by Joseph Rasmussen

I have purchased this particular item and have purchased 2 other brands/sellers in the past . Each worked and served the purpose I needed, most recently for adding ports to a bay device. Numerous comments indicate that the cable cannot be easily removed from the USB 3.0 port on the motherboard, this was my experience with the previous two builds. The time will tell. Note that once installed, you will most likely never be able to disconnect the adapter cable from the motherboard connector without damaging the cable or the motherboard, or possibly both. Does it really matter, in a few years you might switch to a new motherboard and pass it on to your kids. Note that I had no issues with the adapter cable not working or the risk of fire. Recommended, one star deducted for durability - lack of reliability when unplugging cord for reuse.
