I use it to make homemade baby food that needs a lot of steam, and this little triangle is just right for that. What would normally take up to an hour now takes 15 minutes and that's more than my only complaint. I wish it came in different colors like gray or black and since the bin is white it gets dirty pretty easily. I had to steam carrots and sweet potatoes. So far both have stained the white steamer basket, but it cleared up after a bit of soaking and didn't affect overall use. I highly recommend this if you like steamed veggies or like me making baby food which usually requires pots, hot metal takes up lots of space steamers, lots of water, lots of time and extra cleaning - it gets rid of everything and gets the job done in 5 minutes or less !
