If reliability is not your concern then this is the pump for you. It is relatively quiet and pumps a lot of water. The kit includes a couple of barbed fittings so it's easy to connect different sizes of tubing, and the cap allows for a small flow adjustment (although I wouldn't recommend restricting suction on the pump). The bad news is that mine, while appearing to be well built, failed after 6 months of continuous use. There is obviously nothing wrong with that - no issues with the impeller, it just failed. Luckily I was there to catch him in time and save my livestock. I replaced it with Eheim (double the price) which has been running as a champion for a few years.
