Use a drill as not all holes are provided. Of the 6 holes required for the mounting screws, only 1 hole was pre-drilled. The rest was just unpierced plastic walls. If you don't have a drill, your wrist must be strong to TIGHTEN your way. As a parent, keep a drill handy just in case. From the child's side. My son loves this! Standing, playing, falling, laughing, chewing on a basketball and batting a lot. One last important note: this slide is tiny! My son is 9 months old and trains standing. He's a little guy too. Small ambitious babies climb, scratch, bite, stand, stumble and have an uneven threshold, this toy is for you! (Dear step 2, please pre-punch all the holes, thanks)
