I have an old 17 inch gaming laptop (only used for gaming) that gets quite hot. After spending too much time browsing different laptop cooling pads, I settled on this one. .I would really like a color choice, but since it's mostly hidden, it's a minor thing.What I really like: quiet operation, a large number (5) and the location of the fans, great price for the size. What I would have wished for: more than one USB port built into the device. Other features to note: USB powered directly from laptop; The ability to tilt the corner of the laptop and a small triangular element on the front to keep the tilted laptop from sliding off the base, I figured if you're actually using it on your lap that would be a plus, but to be honest, the sculpted ribs under this device will not be very comfortable for a long time, and with the weight of a large laptop, I can see how it presses on a person's hips when wearing shorts or thin clothes. Since I don't use it like that, it's not a problem for me.
