Have been using OptiWand for a few months now. I don't wear contacts very often and have no problem putting them on, but I've had a heck of a lot of time to take off a new, very comfortable brand of soft contacts that I'm trying out. I actually hurt my eye once trying to remove it, it looked like I had been poked hard in the eye because I actually poked myself hard in the eye trying to remove it. I thought I would try this product but decided not to after reading the negative "doesn't work" reviews. It works GREAT. It's amazing how impatient people can be. Of course it will take a few times to get used to this, but basically hold the wand to your eye, make sure you see yourself in the mirror through the hole in the center of the wand, sit on it very carefully . Place it on your contact lens/eye, maybe rotate it a little while it's in place and gently press against your eye, slide your fingers down onto the tip of the cone and gently squeeze the cone so it snaps the contact lens grips. Then pull everything away from the eye, still squeezing the cone. And if it takes five or ten times to figure it out, so what?
