I love this particular car mount, especially because it's a lot more minimalistic and compact than my previous one. The fact that no motor function is required to open or close the side flap means less hassle. Let's talk about a bug that I don't appreciate but will work with. First, the mounting process of the mount requires you to tear off the parts you need to mount it to, which confuses me. Second, the guide is useless because it's unclear and confusing, so I have to turn to YouTube for clarification. Finally, I don't trust how the mount is installed, just sticking a plastic plug into the socket, which makes me cringe a bit. Overall, while this is custom made for my 2018 RAV 4 and I can't really complain, mainly because it works, it's an upgraded mount over my old mount and doesn't require a mechanic to do the process.
