Use Cibie or branded LEDs instead

Power - they are brighter than closed headlights, but the pattern is worse, so visibility does not improve - neither low nor high beam. The low beam is very wide, but so wide that there is no light to see further from the cut-off line because it is distributed where it is not really needed. Too much foreground light and not enough light projected further at the cutoff point, it's actually hard to see where the near rays end unless you're parking against a wall - the opposite of a good radiation pattern. The high beam is too low with the low beam set correctly, there is almost no center point to improve long distance vision and again too much light is wasted on the roadside and not going straight enough. Since the low beam stays on along with the high beam, the overly intense foreground light mixed with the fuzzy high beam pattern tires your eyes to see further. The only thing they are good at is anti-glare, there is almost no light over the border. Construction - overall feels solid. The reflector coating isn't evaporated aluminum like it should be (99% optically reflective), it looks like a chrome-like sputtering on the coating that's not as reflective, and the texture of the sputtering certainly doesn't help. with precise light distribution. Actual chrome plating is only 66% optically reflective, so I have my doubts as to what type of plating is used on these lights. round halogens and better than many more expensive LED bulbs. I tried them hoping that cheaper LED headlights could catch up to 30-40 year old halogen headlights, but they proved me wrong.
