I didn't think to take a picture until I tried to remove the dishes from the packaging, but the resulting packaging doesn't have a plastic lid on the front of the box as other reviewers have suggested. I think because of this there are some tiny scuffs and scratches on the dishes that are too small for my phone's camera. Plus, $23 ($29 minus the $6 coupon and Black Friday purchase) was a good deal for it, and each utensil feels thick and durable. Time will tell if it will scratch easily from handling and washing in the dishwasher. The included instructions said to avoid using hard water, chlorinated detergents and chlorinated products (such as salt, mustard, mayonnaise, eggs) as these can cause pitting and staining.
