Closure is Velcro only. No buckle. If you have natural hair (i.e. if you are black or mixed), it will get stuck in your hair. It's not even about the beautiful Velcro on expensive children's bibs. It's just crappy velcro and it will stick to your natural hair. Which sucks because I bought a visor so I can wear my hair the way I want it - big and high on my face and neck. It's cotton but looks cheap. Yes, it cost $16, but the headband doesn't even have an insert. The search for something that is claimed continues.
