Hell install

UPDATE Everything worked fine after hell install. After 4 months it just stopped working. No power outage, nothing, just doesn't work anymore. I followed all the instructions again. Nothing. We contacted Alexa support and followed all the instructions twice. NO SMART LIFE OR WIXANN SUPPORT. Even their support email address is fake. I read the first review that suggested I try the Jinvoo app, which is now also part of Smart Life. Same instructions. So I tried Jinvoo again and it worked. Alexa recognized him. Next time I'll buy the Casa or TP-Link bulbs that the Alexa support guy recommended. AVOID THESE LIGHTS, they are a nightmare. I finally got it working after hours of frustration. Don't look for customer support, there isn't one. That's why I gave 2 stars. The given E-Mail Adress is invalid. And the reason they put those old reviews at the top is because they don't mention how terrible the initial install is. I have followed the instructions. I checked my modem's speed to make sure it's the correct 2.5MHz. I blinked the lightbulb and she still wouldn't see it. Again and again. What finally worked was AP mode. Make it blink fast, then repeat the on, off, and off sequence to make it blink SLOWLY, then make it detect. And there are pros and cons of this app. Confusing as hell. He blinked slowly several times before realizing the lightbulb. I received the Sengled smart lightbulb for the first time and the installation was quick and easy! Just screw it in and it comes out. But it was the 60 watt equivalent, so it was too dark. That's the equivalent of 120 watts, which I find questionable, but that's okay. There are very few smart bulbs on the list that aren't 60W. I hope this doesn't stop working as others have posted. Now that they work, it's nice to be able to control them with Alexa. The colors work well, there's not much use from them, but they're great to play with. I've learned to look for the most recent reviews first to see when customers have issues with a product. I hope technology has improved before I have to replace it!
