I still heard noise after installing the filter! Check your car stereo's ground wire to make sure it's good before trying this filter. After checking my wiring and components I was able to fix the noise as well as the steering not working properly. The problem is that most aftermarket stereos come with a ground connection from the stereo to the wiring harnesses that plug into the vehicle, which cannot be a good ground source! To make a proper ground connection you need to connect a wire from the stereo chassis to the metal in your dashboard which is part of the car. Most likely, your original stereo came with a ground wire that was screwed or plugged into the back of the stereo. Problems with the steering wheel controls. Also, remember to cover any exposed RCAs and cables with tape to make sure they don't touch anything in the dash.
