Our dog, Maui, loves the Petcube line of products. She would always sit in front of him and ask for a treat. If only she could ask Alexa to drop the treat (haha)! We love the new look of the petcube lite, especially with the white trim. Though it's made of plastic rather than aluminum, its lightweight design makes it easy to hang or move. This device doesn't have Alexa built in like our previous one, but it will connect to any Alexa product. Hence the price difference. Video quality and connectivity improve with each product release. The initial setup is always pretty simple and straightforward. The need for a 2.5 GHz frequency versus a 5 GHz frequency in your home internet service needs to be considered. Customers who are not tech savvy may find it difficult to set up with their home internet setup rather than directly with the Petcube. We're always excited to see what Petcube releases next. It really eases the anxiety associated with leaving our pet's home while they're away. If I'm new to the petcube line, choose the one that works best for you and your environment. The new petcube lite worked best for us.===================================== == ==================================== Review Update: A few worthwhile facts about the Petcube Lites are worth mentioning in our opinion. We've been back to work for a while, so petcubes are being used more than ever to keep our Maui entertained. Last week there was a power outage in our area and we had to manually reset the Pet Cube when we got home. A backup system or a power failure notification can be helpful for such events. Since then, our Petcube Lite has been working tirelessly, and Maui waits like clockwork for a treat every day!
