I bought this for a very small apartment with limited space. It holds regular thick towels well but my large fluffy bath towels are a little firmer but still work. Mounting to the wall was easy, but I recommend using different anchors than the ones that come with the stand. I used snapskru #6 x 1-1/4 self-drilling drywall anchors and it was a breeze with a cordless screwdriver. Love the look of this handy towel rail hanging on the wall next to the shower and appreciate the capacity. And if you place multi-colored towels in it, a small, dark, windowless bathroom will become more cheerful.
