Review on Aqua Magic Toilet Pedal Flush Profile by Mike Roe

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Flushed so hard water spilled out the front

I just replaced my 10 year old Thetford AquaMagic IV with an AquaMagic V. In front of the toilet when you press the pedal all the way down enough to reverse the bathroom wall is damp. I use a 55psi water regulator and the problem also occurs when I use the water pump from the fresh water tank (city water is off). I see that the flush pipe (between valve and bowl) is different between old and new toilets. The old one is custom corrugated tubing and the new one is smooth vinyl tubing, both wider and shorter. Replace the flush nozzle (that's not the problem). They said the water pressure should be between 40-60psi, which it was. -Installation of a toilet. The problem was completely solved and it became a little quieter. I can assume they swapped parts to save money. I was unfortunate that I had to remodel the toilet to make it work properly. The rest works like the old one.

Pros
  • Higher seat for more comfort
Cons
  • Big and bulky
