Review on 🧭 Enhance Your Navigation with the Garmin Friction Mount: Secure and Convenient Holder by Joe Patterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Functional compact stable stand for phone or GPS

Product has no suction power; It has a sticky rubber bottom so I can't rate the suction power. There are also no security features and I don't expect them either. The security is that I don't do anything stupid and leave the device installed when I get out of the car. This subject's rated capabilities need to be reviewed. Either way, this mount is a great alternative to the Garmin sandbag mount. This mount is lighter, has a smaller footprint, and the ball seat works like a sandbag. The sticky, rubber-coated base covers a flexible metal plate, allowing you to gently flex the base to conform to the curves of the dashboard. The vertical stand folds fairly flat, making this mount compact enough for storage. I am using this with a Galaxy S8 phone which is quite large and heavy for a smartphone and fits well. FYI to take this stand I bought a plastic phone clip that snaps onto the ball of this stand. Now I can't remember the make and model of the clamp. Maybe I revised it. If not, then I have to do it.
