I bought a 10 mm ring without a central lock to pierce the septum. I specifically wanted the clicker to be able to slide in and out of the piercing easily each day (which may be unusual, but a must for me). The ring looks very cute and for the first few days I thought I'd buy more of the same model to put in my ears. Unfortunately, the clasp no longer closes after about a week. The ring closes but opens when I remove the pressure. That means it just doesn't work as a decoration anymore. To be honest, the ring and the seller might have something to do with gold being a soft metal. It must not be designed for daily opening and closing. But it just didn't work for me and my use case.
