So I needed something better than a plastic container for my paints. I've seen them under other brands but didn't want to pay as much as was often asked. And for less than $20? It was worth buying. I took a model with 60 holes. Construction: Simple slot with plastic clips. The only complaint I might have is that I wish the clips weren't *transparent* plastic - if you drop one (or it won't snap and pop out) it just takes a little longer to find. But that's my only complaint. Yes, it's thin MDF, but how much weight do you want to hang on it? Purpose of use: I have a mix of paints from different brands - Vallejo, Ammo of MiG, Lifecolor, Testors, Tamiya and others. I was wondering what would fit in here - honestly I have enough of everything to use it. But if you are looking and wondering what and where fits? The 1 inch, which accounts for most of the spots in this one, fits small Vallejo and Ammo Mig bottles (and others). The back row is 1.4 inches, which is consistent with most other brands I've seen. Surprisingly, the small square Testors (and Pactra) bottles don't fit in 1 inch holes. Although they are still mostly disappearing. 1.4" - Modellmeister, Gunze Sangyo Aqueous / Mr. Color, 10ml (smaller) Tamiya, Lifecolor, Testors CreateFX, Micro Marc Microsol/set/mask so no problem. Larger holes needed: Tamiya 23ml. Mr. fountain pens (although they are about the size of an aerosol can). Revell Germany Aqua Color (although they are so square). I'm definitely looking at the 15 and 28 hole versions for my other colors. If I had more Vallejo/Model Air/Ammo MiG I might look at the vertical brace to make it easier to look for color but that's not such a big deal.
