If you're looking for a laptop cooler, you probably need it to cool down your hot gaming laptop. Enter this cooler; it's almost perfect! It has proper fan speed control with a large and therefore silent fan. The LEDs can be customized to different colors and patterns, or turned off. There is a USB power plug and a splitter, so that communication is not lost. Nearly perfect! Cons: Roller shutters anti-slip machines, 1/2 inch too short. I also attached clothespins to mine to keep my large gaming laptop from sliding up and down the original flaps. The second downside is that the USB hub doesn't have a label so you'll have to guess which one to plug it into, but I'd consider that insignificant compared to flip covers. There are only two options for connecting the built-in hub (splitter) of the cooler, so a little trial and error will lead to success.
