I've only had this case for a few days so can't comment on its longevity or if it's waterproof. I got this because my wife and I just got new cars and we have an 8 year old and an 11 month old and I was looking for something to protect the seats like everyone who was looking at this. At first I just bought one to test. When it arrived and I opened the package I was surprised at how thick and good quality it was for what I paid. Installs very easily in just 2-3 minutes. I love the center fold zippers, and in my Tacoma I could unzip, skip the seat belts, and then zip it back up. This, along with a good velcro for the buckle mounts that closes tightly around them, means there's probably 99% of the webbing for the seat protected. I plan to order 2 for my wife's car plus a couple for the front seats.
