Several times a week my bikes ate our truck and trailer. That's why I often pump forks. That makes it easy. I've heard people say they can get hit in an accident. At least on my bikes this is next to impossible as they are under the handlebars. They are cheap. I have a spare set in case a leak occurs. After many hours of driving and loading and unloading cycles, they still haven't made it.
