Review on Portable Monitor Inch Bimo Matte 16", IPS, HDMI by Jack King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very impressive! good for me

I wasn't expecting much from a non-brand name, but after changing a few settings it's great. The out-of-the-box settings didn't really show the monitor's full potential. The screen wasn't bright or colorful at first, and whites were a little fuzzy. I changed the backlight from 30 to 70 and it's a whole new beast. It's like going from SDR to HDR, colorful, vibrant and still good blacks. Another "Ultra Vivid" setting made the slight blur crystal clear. I use mine as a second monitor for my laptop in class. It is mainly used for editing documents and watching shows on a break. The 16:10 aspect ratio is great for the job, it's like having a 17 inch monitor without the unnecessary width. It includes a stand that allows me to use the monitor without getting in the way of my mouse. Sits low over the desk so I can see everything and all of my students, this is perfect for my situation. I haven't tried games, so I can't comment on how well it handles fast movements. Hope this helps others.
