This is a very good, underrated sleep cream. Or, as I call it, a sleep mask to give you a little extra hydration during the transitional seasons. Again, LUMENE is an excellent skincare line that doesn't get nearly the press it deserves. I think it just doesn't have an advertising budget or friendly beauty editors touting its all-round quality. I love that many large pharmacies sell Lumene products. They are inexpensive. At night I do a modified (VERY modified) Korean cleanse, heal and moisturize regimen. Far from the recommended double digit steps, my routine varies between 7-9 steps. Some will say 7 steps is too much, but this works for me, although I change it up from time to time. How I use this Lumene cream:-. Always clean twice followed by 1 minute rinse. Soap and water follow. I usually use Sapoderm or Mysore Sandalwood Soap. I love the feel of a good old fashioned soap! Rinse with WARM WATER for 1 minute. NEVER hot water. Biologique Lotion P50 - Exfoliating and tonic. Bloody expensive, but this is one of the VERY few products worth the hype and $$$$ Essence. Any good Korean product will do. All of them are duplicates of SK11 for the price of the same Blanchett glow several times cheaper. Only use Cosrx Snail Mucus Serum in winter. Feels sticky, sticky, but absorbs quickly. wait 2 minutes Cosrx Galactomyces lightening serum against pigment spots and old acne spots. A THIN layer of Differin Gel over the entire surface, except for the eye area. OTC is now available. Thank you FDA! Olay over-the-counter retinol cream after Differin is fully absorbed. Usually 5 mins. eye cream sometimes. Aquaphor for the eyes in winter. Then, depending on the weather, I apply LUMENE Vitamin C Cream over it. The trick is to rub it FIRMLY into the skin. You need to do a whole "spanking" routine, but I don't think so. This cream is light and doesn't feel sticky. Compared to other products, it absorbs quickly without pilling. Another Lumene product I've tried is the Valo lotion, but that's a different review. In my opinion, the Lumene line is a Volvo skincare product, except it's made in Finland and not Sweden. There's a lot of gossip touting the benefits of Finnish flora, herbs and water, but you can politely ignore all those folders that the cosmetics copywriter loves so much. PT Barnum capitalized on the gullibility of the general public. This is a worthy product to add to your skincare shelf. With REGULAR use, it gives the skin a pleasant cleanliness. Thumbs up! - Thank you for taking the time to read this long review. I hope this helps you.
