These lamps provide excellent light for use under cupboards. Bright white light. I placed them one per closet or two for a large closet. Beautiful, very flat design. You will need very small screws (not included) to screw them into the bottom of the cabinet. The wires are pretty long for the most part as I used them. However, the main switch cord is very short and not long enough to go down and back from the microwave. They have a plug with a distributor for other lights and then a switch. Obviously you need a switch where you can access it. This was not enough, you need to build additional wiring. The light wires were longer than the shifter cable.
