I really like this massager. I sustained ankle injuries in an accident (broke both ankles and heels). I tried electronic stimulation but could never get the pads to stay properly. This massager has pads but can also be used without. If I only use the foot height, I feel a stimulation up to the middle of the calf. That's so pleasant! It's really easy to use and has many settings to get the stimulation you want. I can change the timer to it if I need to work longer than usual. It's been so long since I've been able to get relief from my ankle pain and I'm just grateful for this product. On days when I walk a lot and am in a lot of pain, I use the included pads on the top (near my knees) of my legs. This is a quick and easy way to get rid of all the sore spots at once. Another benefit is that it's thin enough to tuck under the sofa when not in use.
