The camera works great, the video is great, the mic is not great, there is a plug in mic and now the audio is great. The software that comes with it is useless and I mean you can't even run most of the software. Get Adobe and smile for the camera. Not ideal for hand control, you need quite a long stick as the focus closes when you hold it in your hand. I have a 24" stick and it helped if you mount it on a table (tripod) a good distance away, it's great.
