This is a good pair of speakers, as soon as they arrived I installed them on my transmitter and the sound is amazing, they have a very balanced sound, I can hear clearly high mids and excellent low frequencies. My car also has the loud Flowmaster which I hear in the car so I needed a decent pair of speakers to balance both sounds lol. I've compared them to some inferior speakers (Soundstream) I installed in my car door and they're just rubbish. Although they cost literally the same, the Cerwin Vegas are much better, they seem to have good quality materials and sound. I don't know why people complain about it, maybe they just installed it wrong (polarity), you'd better go to youtube and watch a tutorial.
