Holy cow! Where have you been all my life? I got these on a friend's recommendation. I have tile floors and use inverted squares of rug to move things around. But I had a HUGE 80" closet with round legs and both of us couldn't lift it from the side. Friends to the rescue! Made three jars out of it. And we moved the sliders underneath. IMPRESSIVE! Made all the difference in the world I just wish there was a way to attach sliders. Now I can move the monster on my own. The slider is worth the investment. I'll probably buy more. I mean, you can restore them, but not for heavy items. Me just leave it. It's a bit easier for all the pieces to have their own slider. Very happy with the purchase. The "black" side goes toward the furniture / the brown felt side goes down. I just wish they could jump over rapids Stay in place when you need to knock over furniture etc Amazing stuff Grab something and keep it handy.
