Review on πŸ”‘ VOFONO Self-Programmable Key Fob for Chevy Suburban Tahoe GMC Yukon (2015-2020) with PUSH TO START - Chip Included by Dan Sturm

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great not that difficult to program

I recently bought a 2019 GMC Yukon which I bought "used" but only came with a remote control. GMC charged over $300 for a programmed remote, a local locksmith was slightly better for $230 (but they warned me not to buy it from Revain because it requires 'special' programming (huh)). After I found the step-by-step instructions for programming the remote control for my car in the user manual, I bought the VOFONO remote control. Programming a second remote control is tedious, but not that difficult if you just follow the instructions in the user manual or the online videos that VOFONO links to. Tedious because it takes more than 30 minutes if you only have 1 remote - if you have 2 remotes and want to program a third remote it takes 5 minutes. The VOFONO remote was programmed for me for the first time and I highly recommend their remote for its affordability - I will most likely be buying another one from them.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Damaged
