Review on ๐ŸŽค Customized Windscreen Foam Cover for Rode PodMic - Effective Pop Filter to Minimize Plosives and Wind Noise during Podcasting by Marcus Zimmerly

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Breaks, cuts, crumbles into small pieces, CAUTION

arrived completely smashed, cut, pieces of styrofoam flying everywhere. unfortunately I thought it was the packaging but it wasn't and now I have to pry tiny bits of foam out of my Rode Podmic with very small tweezers! an absolute joke with a pop filter! shit) - thick as bricks - would probably do the job CONS - not many people make them so we stuck with this "quality" of filters - broken - foam rips apart - cut with a knife or something sharp - little pieces of foam get stuck in my mic and all over the floor - wasted money. (thank goodness it wasn't much) but I'm still picky and will contest the charges unless they contact me and REPLACE IT. as it's not worth my time to drive and send it back when I can now order from another seller and dispute them! Unfortunately Rode thinks they have a "BUILT IN" pop screen/shock absorber! when in reality people like this seller can send out absolutely terrible quality pop filters and we have no choice but to buy them! You'd think Rode would beat us on price like they did with the $100+ PTA-1 tripod and want some extra revenue, but instead we have an amazing mic with the tragic integration of one pop filters and a shock mount. ! (slow clap for you RODE)

Pros
  • Durable case - fits like a glove and protects the microphone from saliva splashes. Protect your Rode PodMic from the damaging effects of dust and moisture.
Cons
  • Uncertain
