Better for toddlers than children

Bought for nephews 3 and 7 years old. A 7 year old that I bought the right size brush for said it didn't work on him and was just throwing up dirt on his teeth. A 3 year old can use it like a regular toothbrush and it works great. A 7 year old will use it in the middle of the day to help brush his teeth before bed.
