I just put this together yesterday (or attempted to). I recently bought a cheaper phone mount and it was just very difficult to get my phone out of the claws without ripping the whole mount out of the vent. So, I ordered this one.Everything about the phone mount seems important. An added bonus is that it came with directions so putting it together was super simple.Putting your phone in the "claws" is super simple. To release, all you have to do is press the button on the back and it smoothly slides open.The only thing that was frustrating is that the 3M adhesive pad that came to adhere to the dash just didn't.adhere. One side did but no matter how long I pressed the pad, the other side just wouldn't. I left it to sit overnight. But still no luck. So, at the moment, the only thing that I can figure out is using the vent clip until I can figure out a fix.
