The hardest part of the install was drilling holes in the drywall. In other words, it was very easy to place everything. I installed a small 14" LCD monitor. Although the instructions say not to mount directly to drywall, this shouldn't be a problem if your monitor is as small as mine - that "screw" in the drywall - you can easily hold 25lbs.) After drilling the holes and leveling the thing, just twisted everything together, secured the bracket to the LCD (more screws) - and hung easily The monitor is older and a bit thicker than current units (which for my use was perfect ) but it still fits snugly against the wall.If your needs are the same as mine I don't think you will be disappointed with this mount. It's simple, well made, easy to install and use I think if you mount it directly to the studs you should be able to easily hold a much larger monitor with ease.
