Review on πŸ›οΈ Ultra-Comfortable Therm-a-Rest Mesh Cot: The Perfect Bed for Outdoors by Steve Douglas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great bed so far!

My impressions after using Webelos Woods Camp for 3 nights for the first time this year are quite good. The bed is very light, compact and very easy to set up. After a quick look at the instructions and watching a YouTube video, I was assembled very quickly and was able to go to bed! I'm about 236 so I'm a little worried about the plastic feet but so far so good. Considering my weight, I certainly used all 6 leg and brace combinations, although in mountaineering it really comes down to being able to take less to save weight. I've had so much luck with Thermarest products in the past (my LuxuryMAP pillow has been to everywhere from Boundary Waters to several Boy Scout summer camps) and so far I'm happy with this purchase. I only used it once in three nights but it was good. I will update the rating after using it again. UPDATE - September 2017 - I used this crib again at Boy Scout Summer Camp Week this summer and it was great. Absolutely no problem. I love how easy it is to set up and I've found it to be very durable. However, I probably wouldn't recommend it for TEENAGERS scouts (I'm an adult leader) as they can be quite rough with the gear. I wish the storage bag was a bit bigger - sometimes it takes a few tries to get everything right - but other than that, I love this crib!
