This soft C-shaped gimbal has become my go-to shooting assistant. It has so many camera placement options. It is high quality and very comfortable with knurled padding. The possibilities of what devices you can connect to it are pretty much limitless. I took some photos showing what my d7000 looks like on the bottom platform. I also showed what my iPhone 7 plus battery compartment looks like from below. In another image, the battery compartment is connected to the ball joint shoe mount at the top, while the d7000 is at the bottom. The weight is still very manageable and it's certainly solid. I have a large LED and a small LED that I also connected to the top bracket. Everything holds up really well and the ball joint makes it really easy to change the angles on the tip. Here are a few things I love about this gimbal: 1. Flat platform at the bottom so you can put it on a table or the floor and keep shooting.2. Comfortable padding 3. The ability to move the camera forward / backward / left / right in the slots and fix it if necessary.4. It comes with a phone adapter that can be screwed on for landscape or portrait mode. They are sold separately on Amazon for over $5. You get it thrown in a package here. You can also use it on any regular tripod or mini tripod with 1/4.5 screw. If I tighten the handles, I'm not afraid of my gear falling off. That's quality. If you need more hardware, you're sure to find a cheap, tiny shoe mount adapter that splits into two 1/4 screw options. It would be if you had to have a light with a mic on top. I know I have enough extra parts from other stabilizers etc to install some cool options without having to buy anything else. There is definitely a lot of room for creativity on the lower platform. I've seen buy such a stabilizer at best. You can watch it. Basically the same price but no top mounting option, no accessories and little space on the bottom platform. This is not a pipe dream!
