Relatively easy to set up, but 1) Some connections didn't work right out of the box 2) Constant signal loss: audio, video, or both. I bought a Marantz on recommendation hoping for killer sound and video. Boy was I due for disappointment. I checked it the same day it arrived and . thanks amazon for returning. For this money he should have worked perfectly and served for a long time. When some connectors turned out to be dead, I used others to connect my home theater parts. But when the TV just lost signal (sometimes just visual, sometimes audio, sometimes everything), it was downright annoying. This has never happened to me with any of my previous receivers (Denon, Pioneer, Yamaha etc.). Another point - this and the cheaper Denon are definitely made by the same people - and it shows.
