I need an inexpensive waffle maker that gets the job done. I didn't want a super-expensive device with a bunch of fancy gimmicks (and problems). The Oster is easy to use (plug in), easy to clean (wipe down), easy to store (stand upright) and to be honest, the whole process only takes a few minutes. The waffles that come out aren't very thick or deep, but they're light, crispy, and delicious. I've found that the edges tend to be thinner and if you use too much batter to compensate for this it will bleed out the sides. . Slightly heavy enough to pour but not too much. My waffles aren't very thick around the edges, but for the price I'm happy.
