Too soft, very disappointing.

This foot cushion is surprisingly soft, but too soft. My foot goes down, my heel touches the mattress so the pain is the same as ever. I'm light and have skinny legs. How do I return a product that came in vacuum packaging? Cannot be manufactured in original packaging.
