I first bought these to fit on a 1982 Yamaha Seca 750. All reputable companies charge 3-4 times more for some rear shocks and to be honest that would be more than what I paid for the whole bike. So what have I done? Of course I went straight to Revain and the viola. I found them and took the risk of buying a cheaper shock absorber. I was not disappointed in any way. I had to purchase an eyebolt for the floor to use in place of the shackle which was not a problem and I knew I had to do this before I bought it. They arrived quickly, installation was easy, my bike dropped about 2 inches in the rear, I dialed in the perfect stiffness and took it off. You would never know that this is not a famous brand. They ride like a dream and are adjustable so you can find the perfect combination of stiffness and resilience for your ride. They also made turns much more stable and confident compared to the bumps my bike used to have. Have put them on for a few thousand miles and still ride like the day I put them on. If I get another bike that needs rear shocks I will definitely buy again.
