Poor protection and stopped working after a few months

I bought this a while ago and it broke just after I forgot to write a review. After a week of use, one of the buttons broke off (as seen in the second photo), then after a few months of use, it wouldn't charge and none of the button combinations worked (I couldn't turn down the brightness or change the colors of the lights). I was very frustrated with this so I contacted Zagg but haven't had a response yet! It didn't bother me too much because I still had a foldable case and room for my Apple Pencil. I still used it every day at school, but one day a kid creatively threw it off my desk and my iPad had a small crack that went all the way through the screen. Back then I was most angry with the guy who threw it off my desk, but now that I think about it, the case should have prevented that tear. Right now I'm very pissed off, but I'll keep using it and won't write a review. About a week or two before the last day of school, it fell out of my backpack as I left the classroom. Before I say this next part, you should know that the case was completely closed, I had 360Β° protection on my iPad. When I opened the case, my iPad was completely smashed and huge pieces of glass flew out of the screen (as you can see in the first photo). This is totally unacceptable for any case, especially a case that fully covers my iPad. I was angry but also afraid that my father would get mad at me, so I tried to focus on my tasks. A while ago it was the end of the 2020-2021 school year. I almost forgot until today that I wanted to write a review (I'm in a bad mood right now). This is the longest review I've ever written, so I'm coming to a conclusion now. This product was good for a week and then it went wrong so I'd recommend doing a little more research and maybe just buying the Bluetooth case and keyboard separately. Maybe it's the OtterBox protection (which I'm currently using for my phone). Unless you expect to carefully press each key while typing, don't buy this case. - Will Jennings, 13
