I use this to repair some plastic panels in the car where the connectors are cracked or even missing. I've found this plastic good for molding thick missing parts (like the entire cleat bushing) but seems almost useless for reinforcing an existing cleat bushing - my work was too fine to use this material. Then I found that epoxy works great at reinforcing an existing bar socket, but terrible when trying to replace missing material. So use this plastic to mold the missing pieces, then epoxy to reinforce it and the cracked sockets and I have a complete countertop. I needed both! I like how this material can be sanded, very easy to shape. (By the way, I use two-part Gorilla epoxy)
