Review on Distressed Oak Homestyles Kitchen Island by Dylan Baldwin

Nice and easy installation

WOW - Exactly as pictured. Received 3 boxes with a total value of 200€. I opened the first one and found a sheet that said "WHAT'S IN THIS BOX". And each part had an alpha character sticker that matched both this manifest and the instructions. I was pleased. I was struggling to go through the builds and go back and forth which part was which. Everything was VERY clear. I'm a 58 year old female, 5'8", with good upper body strength, but I had a tennis elbow attack. I took things slowly and had to get a little creative with some chairs and boards to line everything up along the way. Most of the parts are quite heavy. I had a base with no shelves and doors in an hour and 15 minutes. I think with an assistant this will cut that time in half. The only alignment issue I had was with the screw holes for 1 loop for that Food "leaf". Holes in one hinge were so far apart that new ones had to be drilled. Nothing terrible and a lot easier than other areas when there were problems. I was a little apprehensive about adjusting the top - that Top is one piece plus the added 'leaf' but because it all fits together I was able to stand up on the short end of the base - lift and push. No problems. I find all the material durable, much bes better quality than I expected for the price. Honestly if I had paid twice as much I still think it's a good price - it looks just like the pictures and I'm very satisfied! My blog post is about assembly and finishing.
