My husband loves Vans and no matter how much I buy him these shoes I'm kinda sorry because after 6-8 months the rubber on the sides and front always breaks. Keep in mind that he's in the office all day, so he doesn't wear much. That being said, he can usually pull a few more months out of them with some strong glue to hold them together a little longer.
