I have used Hydro 5 and Hydro blades for many years. The blades of the Hydro 5 are so sharp you hardly feel the blade raking your face. And the blades last for weeks. I once made my father swear by it. This purchase, ready to go, is literally like shaving with a rusty tin can. It hurts. It takes several attempts to remove the hair above my lips. And I have very soft facial hair. I almost never have to use shaving foam. I threw away the first blade after using it twice. The second was no better. I didn't get what I paid for.
