Used for Dodge 1500 Auxiliary Backup Light Kit Reversing at night when looking through factory tinted windows is very painful. So I tried brighter bulbs but still not enough. Connect them by pressing on the tow strap, seven pins, not 4 pins. Center pin reversed. Now when the truck reverses, they light up. I've measured each drawing about 2 amps, so it's not a wiring harness issue. I then pressed on the hex heads and wrapped some silicone around the cord coming out of the lamp housing just in case. The bracket was fine, but I had to drill out and use different screws as the threads on the aluminum block were stripped. They're definitely bright and I can see behind me now because people move behind me at night. I wouldn't put them on a switch as I don't think it's legal to check. I slightly pointed them down and towards the corner of the truck. Let's see how they tolerate the weather and the time.
