This pack appears to be a rejection of the socket tool that comes with the 1/8 inch socket pack with pad and separate box. 3/16" colored grommets. I use the grommets to attach the ring to kitchen towels so they can be hung from a hook. Because the 3/16" grommets have no backing, they don't adhere well to the fabric of the towel . Also, they are a bit large for the tool (which I believe was designed for the more common 1/8" sleeve). It's difficult to insert the large sleeve into the fabric and hold it in place as you insert it into the tool and apply pressure while holding everything in place. The smaller sleeves have a back so it's much easier to put the pieces together and because they're smaller it's easy to insert. I think if you are using large eyelets and stiff material it might be easier but not with fabric.
